I haven't eaten at La Gare so far, I have only visited the Bar on the ground floor - but that was a great visit. Loved the atmosphere, excellent service. Nice choice of excellently made Cocktails.
Negatives? Prices for Drinks are a bit elevated, even counting the location and the quality. -

An old train station that has been transformed into a cafe and restaurant. The restaurant is enormous, by Paris standards, and the cafe abuts onto a public park and there's really great terraced seating whether "below" for the restaurant or at ground level for the cafe.

After my last visit, I need to remove 1 star - sorry guys but your service is appalling. We were a party of 9 and the waiter was consistently rude (particularly with the ladies - quite strange) and slow. Too many customers, too much money, too hype... I don't know.
What remains is still a spectacular location, good food and actually moderate prices for the posh neighborhood. -
